My dog just had a litter of 8 puppies. Mom and babies are doing great. I have a water bowl on the outside of the plastic swimming pool she is in, and she will grab it and spill it in the pool. At first I thought she wanted it in there with her, but she does the same thing. She picks it up and dumps it. Any ideas why?

That is a strange one. Maybe she just wants it where it always. Life has dealt her a whole lot of uproar lately. Might be a good idea to have it out of the pool when the puppies begin to move round.
Perhaps Mom sees the water as a threat to her puppies? Place the water elsewhere?
