Do you have LinkedIn or Craig's list? I have friends in the US and Canada who have found well paying, legitimate jobs through both sites. Sorry for your troubles. Prayers for you and your family! You will need a strong resume for both sites.

The majority of ThrityFun members who try to answer questions will reside in the USA so helping someone find a job in Albania would be a difficult task.

• Others have recommended Indeed.com but I do not see Albania listed on their site so unless you are willing to relocate you may not be able to use their site. I did not see a way to seek online jobs through Indeed.com so if someone knows how to do this, I would also like to know the procedure.

• You do not say what type of business you had but it seems it would be more favorable for you to search for a job in your "field" of expertise. Perhaps you have done this but seeking employment is about the same all over the world so experience will usually help with gaining new employment.
• Perhaps your family business did not require you to work away from home but new employment may require working in another area so that is something to think about.

• Finding legal jobs online is not easy even in the US and most of these jobs pay very little money so I do not see how you can support your family even if you found an online job.
• You do not say which county you live in so if you live in one of the smaller areas in Albania then you may have to plan to travel to a larger city.
• I feel sure that jobs are not that plentiful so you may have to search for something that is not the same type as everyone else is seeking.
• I do not know if you wrote this question yourself, but if you did, then I would suggest you look for a job that needs good English writing and/or something teaching/helping with learning English (since it appears English may not be even a much spoken second language in Albania).
• I feel sure that many companies do business with English speaking countries and may need someone with this talent.
• Your search will probably be something that will require time everyday as what was not available yesterday may have changed overnight.

  Many companies do not retain a resume' if they have no openings or retain them for a very short period of time so this is a constant renewal process.
• I hope you have a very good resume' and a very good cover letter (short - one page each) but if you do not then you need to find someone to assist you with composing this or it will be trashed as soon as it is received. Professional but nothing that you have not done or cannot do if employed.
• Perhaps new computer skills is something you need to learn?
• You will probably have to think "outside the box" if you are really interested in finding a good paying job as there are probably a good number of other people looking also.
• Be sure you do not plan to try to be selective (I cannot work at night/I cannot work overtime/I cannot work on Sundays/I can only work 3 days a week/I cannot report before 9AM) or you may be looking a very long time.

• I do not know Albania's job market but generally speaking, jobs above bottom level pay are not very plentiful anywhere.
• All of this may sound like "doom & gloom" but only people really wanting/needing a job will find one because they will be the ones doing research every day.
