Does anyone know if Paula Deen's gooey butter cakes freeze well? I need to make one for an event and would like to make it ahead of time.
Cheryl from Rehoboth, DE
yes, you can freeze Paula Deen's Gooey Butter Cakes. Freeze as whole or already sliced. Use plastic wrap. I have kept them up to a month.
Fir a whole cake, wouldnt foil be better? Ir at least the plastic and then the foil?
Do you freeze the cake before or after its baked and how long does it last in freezer? Also who knows how to defrost.
How long do you take it out to unfreeze?
