Fruit Slush With Mint

Ingredients:

  • 2 lemons
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 mashed bananas
  • 2 cans crushed pineapple
  • 1 pt. ginger ale

Directions:

Grate the rind of one of each and use the juice of the lemons and oranges. Add the sugar and mashed bananas and stir well. Add crushed pineapple and ginger ale. Freeze to a mush. This can be frozen a little harder than a mush, and then it will stay more firm when dishing it up. Can be served in sherbet glasses and topped with a red cherry.

Last summer I found recipes for frozen fruit slushes on here but I can't find them now. I want to make them in a huge bowl and then freeze them in small containers or cups. I could wing it but I liked all the suggestions out there. Thanks for any help! We are fruit lovers around here.
