Getting Rid of Tiny Biting Bugs?

Getting Rid of Tiny Biting BugsWe have, all of a sudden, been inundated by pinpoint sized bugs that crawl and bite. They cause itching when they move. Mostly we are bothered by them at night, in bed, but have found a few on our skin during the day. We have scoured the internet looking for what it is, but can't find anything that looks like them. They do not look like bed bugs!

Interestingly, I had my cell phone charging on my night stand and in the morning it was covered with these bugs! I managed to "catch" the ones in the photos by putting tape on them. Then I used 10x power on my phone to photograph them. I've tried washing the bedding in hot water, vacuuming the mattress, spraying the mattress with DEET, and putting fresh sheets on the bed to no avail.

I think they are chiggers. Keep them in a sealed plastic bag and go to a place that sells pesticides. They will identify it for you and sell you the right pesticide.
