The completed drink in glass jars.Here is a simple and quick 5 ingredient recipe my husband and I make for the week. Wellness shots are so expensive (they average $4 each and for 2 people a week that would be $56).


You can make your own wellness shots for fractions less and still have ingredients left over to make more the following weeks. Store leftover ingredients in the fridge.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

Yield: 1 week for 2 people (2 mason jars)



  1. Cut lemon and oranges in half and juice. (It was about 5 lemons and 4 oranges)
  2. Peel ginger and turmeric. (Optional to peel)
  3. Put all ingredients into a blender and add water. Pulse well.
  4. Placing ingredients in a blender.
    Blending the drink in a blender.
  5. Pour out into strainer to filter out pulp.
  6. Straining the drink through a sieve.
    Pouring the drink into glass jars.
  7. Save in mason jars and pour out shots daily. Optional: Sprinkle cayenne pepper in the shots daily.
