Golden Sesame Balls

It's mostly known as Chinese or Japanese food called "buchi". It's a sticky rice flour cooked with a variety of filling. Most are made sweet some choose to add a little savory flavor. Here's the recipe.

    Filling

    1. Cook mung beans in boiling water for 30 minutes then drain.
    2. Add 1/2 cup of sugar and mix well until evenly combined.

    1. Mix glutinous rice flour and remaining sugar.
    2. Gradually pour water into mixture.
    3. Stir mixture as you pour water little by little.
    4. Continue stirring or knead the dough to incorporate the mixture to form a dough. It should not stick into your hands.
    5. Take a small portion and form into a ball.
    6. Flatten that ball in you hand and put a teaspoon of mung bean filling into the center.
    7. Form it back into a ball.
    8. Roll the ball into the sesame seeds.
    9. Drop sesame balls into hot boiling oil until golden brown. Cook over medium heat to avoid over cooking.
    10. Remove from pan and place in a plate with paper towel to remove excess oil. Then it's ready to serve.
