Grilled Lemon Oregano Chicken Thighs

Long day at school or work? Time limited or need to prepare for a party? You can easily marinate these chicken thighs in a ziploc bag and have them ready to grill in 30 minutes or the following day. You can also bake them if you would like too. I used chicken thighs, however you can opt to use chicken breast or drumsticks if you would like.
Prep Time: 30 minutes to overnight
Cook Time: 10 minutes
- 3 Tbsp fresh oregano
- 4 cloves garlic
- 5 Tbsp olive oil
- dash salt
- dash pepper
- chicken thighs, with skin and bones
- 4 Tbsp lemon juice
- Mince garlic.
- Chop fresh oregano.
- For a mess free and easy storage I like to marinate in a ziploc bag. In the ziploc bag you have olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper.
- Add chicken thighs to the ziploc bag. Seal ziploc and massage the marinate around them. Allow them to marinate in the fridge for at least 30-45 minutes or overnight before grilling.
- Grill chicken thighs over medium high heat for about 5 minutes per side or until done (time varies depending on your grill). I served mine with brown rice and spinach on the side.
