This may be old news, since it was written over 10 years ago, but I just came across it recently. Research suggests that eating tomatoes, especially tomato sauce, can reduce your chance of developing prostate cancer.
There was a study published in the Journal of National Cancer Institute on March 6, 2002 that analyzed the dietary and health data from nearly 50,000 men over a 12-year period. When compared to men who ate less than one serving of tomato sauce each month, the researchers found that men who ate two or more servings of tomato sauce each week were 23% less likely to develop prostate cancer.
They contribute this reduction to an antioxidant compound found in tomatoes called lycopene.
For men if you have trouble urinating or have burning, due to the prostate, drink about 2 to 3 cups of "small flower willow herb" or called "epilobium" with no known side effects. The cost is about $12 to $14 per month. You will see results in a day or 2. Look it up on the internet.
