Pinecone Chicks With spring right around the corner and summer approaching, winter has given us a bountiful harvest of pine cones. To bring spring in bright and cheery, here are some cute friends

Total Time: 1 hour

Yield: 3 to 6

Supplies:

pine cones
spray paint
felt
scissors
glue gun
googly eyes

Steps:

Make sure pine cones are clean and dry. Spray paint. Allow to dry; repeat if needed.

Take orange felt and cut out feet, using a fork look. Hot glue on the flat end of your pine cone. Also cut small triangles to use as the beaks.

Glue on eyes and beaks.
For additional detail I added feathers to a few chicks.
