The first is a corn plant, or dracaena; the second diffembachia (sp.?). Not sure of the care though--I have a brown thumb! :)

The first corn plant is extremely easy to care for and cultivate, it is an extremely low maintenance plant, they can tolerate droughts, and are great for any work space or house space, they love shade and low lighting , though they will thrive near a sunny exposure but be careful and watch for too much sun directly with high heat can cause burnt leaves! They don't need much fertilization if using a rich soil even the less if using a regular soil fertilizer only after the soil is done it's recommended feeding life like normally the bag will say feed for 2-3 months after that time period begin lightly fertilizing once a month half the recomended dosage stated on fertilizer . Less is more with this plant as it is not fussy . The next plant is quite a find!

They grow father large! But like the corn plant it is a little more delicate shade and moderate light is good but light is defitnatly needed but not full exposer else leaf burn can happen , keep soil moist but not soggy half cup of water per week should be fine as with all none flowering plants fertilization is toned down and less needed , do not over fertilize this plant else it will show damage quickly on leaves less is more 1/3 the recomended dosage again after the soil natural feeding period is over , so this is a little less fertilization than your corn plant , so for example if the instructions say one spoon to a gallon of water you will use half a spoon on corn and half of that half of spoon on the second one , less is more.

Also , the corn plant can tolerate more stuffy and drier areas in home so it's really adaptable a strong trooper , and proper gating them is easy and recommended to make feature plants , when it gets older they can be multiplied but cuttings , which can either be rooted in water or simply placed in dirt. Note when and if you cut this plant it will make it more bushier and grow side shoots so keep this in mind , as for the second one it is a bulb c

Kind so it will produce young lungs on its own which can be separated once separate roots have been formed for that bulb nearest it these can be found at the base of the plant , however be careful as damaging main root bulb can kill of entire plant I learnt the hard way so Mach sure it is a young long fully matured before separating . And his plant likes a more breezy air circulating ventilated spot , .
