Instructions for a Leewards Needlepoint Kit?

Apparently this is a pretty rare kit so you may not be able to find just the instructions.

• Leewards closed in Sept. of 1994 when it was purchased by Michael's but the company states they have no Leewards stock available from the purchase (answers to any questions is usually in a "form" letter).
• There are presently three of these owl kits available on eBay but no where else that I could find.
• You might try contacting these sellers and ask if there is anyway that you can get a copy of the instructions. They may send you a copy - for a price??? The kits are expensive.

• You might also put a "wanted" ad on the national site (and your local site) of Craigslist and you could get lucky.
• ThriftyFun receives a lot of questions about Leewards but basically about whether it is still in business.

I have researched this numerous times and everyone states that it is a waste of time t contact Michael's as they will only send you a form letter saying they do not have any Leewards stock and have no information concerning it.

Please - if you write to Michael's and receive a decent response, it would be nice if you would post it here on ThriftyFun as TF receives a lot of inquires about this company.

Lee Ward's was purchased by Michael's. I would call them or submit a request via their website.

I would put a google alert to be emailed anything regarding this patterns if all other avenues have been exhausted

WHat you should do is set up a google alert to tell you when it has become available:

google.com/alerts

then enter this in the search: "Leewards 21-12696"

or you can enter a search that involves a specific site such as "Leewards 21-12696 inurl:ebay.com" (or replace ebay.com with another site like craigslist) and press CREATE ALERT

if anyone then ever lists it on ebay or writes about it, you will be notified immediately!
