Lipstick Stains on Clothing

I tried to get lipstick out of my clothes with dish soap and laundry soap but it didn't work. Help.

Shampoo will remove most cosmetics stains; if it won't Shout Gel, scrubbing with the little attached brush, will for sure. (11/07/2008)

Ah, I am the pro at this one. I washed numerous lipsticks in my jeans pockets many times, not only messing up my clothes but my husband's too. Take a bottle of Resolve Carpet cleaner spray and saturate each mark on the clothing. Rewash, don't dry yet, check for stubborn stains again. If needed, saturate marks and wash a 2nd time for stubborn marks, this really does work, and I don't know why. I have also run out of name brand Resolve and done the generic dollar store Resolve look alike. It does just as well on the lipstick too. (11/07/2008)

Use baby oil, absolutely works. Put a litle bit on a cloth and rub. All gone.

Good luck. (02/09/2009)
