I would use a polish for this type of flooring. Here is a good one that you can use on your floor: Tarkett SureShine Matte Satin Vinyl Floor Polish. Another one is Floor Pro Vinyl Floor Polish. I would only use the products that were designed for this type of flooring.

You can put wax on it, but it will make it slippery as well.

Before doing any thing I would check with your local hardware store. Tell the helpful sales person what you want to do and ask for instructions and what you should use.
