Making a Spring Paper Plate Flower

Total Time: Varies with child

Supplies:

• paper plate
• paint sticks (or crayons, markers, color pencils, paint)
• tape
• construction paper
• scissors

Steps:

1. Have your child color, draw, and design their paper plate.

 

 

 
2. Using scissors cut out thin triangle pieces to make the plate resemble a flower.

 

 
3. With green construction paper, freehand and cut out the stem and leaves. Tape the leaves to the stem.

4. Then tape stem/leaf to back of the flower. It is now ready to hang on the fridge, or wall, etc. for decor.
