Straw Handbag PlanterI found this cute straw handbag for near to nothing. It has a great look and can be useful in a fun way as a garden planter wreath. Add a lining (if using live flowers) or not if artificial flowers, which can get changed out with the different seasons. I wanted to give it a more fresh look, so it was updated with spray paint, colorful ribbon, and flowers.

Supplies:

  • handbag
  • spray paint
  • flowers
  • ribbon
  • optional -plastic lining if using fresh flowers
Straw Handbag Planter
 

Steps:

  1. Spray paint your bag and allow to dry. I gave this bag 2 coats.
    2. Straw Handbag Planter - spray paint the handbag and allow to dry
     
  2. Apply ribbon, embellishments, and a decorative bow. Fill with your favorite flowers and hang up using the handle.
    3. Straw Handbag Planter - faux flowers added with ribbon bow
