Making a Tulip Favor Cup

Craft: Tulip Favor Cup

Recycle plastic soft drink bottles to create these cute favor cups for your Easter table.

Approximate Time: about 30 minutes

Supplies:

• 20 oz. clean plastic soft drink bottle

• serrated knife
• scrap paper or cardboard
• pencil
• scissors
• pink felt
• hot glue gun and glue sticks
• white craft foam
• ruler

Instructions:

Use a serrated knife to cut off the bottom of the drink bottle, about 3 inches from the bottom. Recycle the top unused portion.

Draw a tulip petal template onto paper or cardboard and cut out. My petal measured 2 1/2 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches tall.

Use the template to cut 6 petals from pink felt. Glue petals around cup to form a tulip.

Cut a handle from craft foam that measures 9 1/2 inches long by 3/4 inch wide.

Glue each end of the handle to the inside of the cup to form the handle. Fill with Easter grass and your favorite Easter treats.
