  • 1/2 cups butter
  • 1/2 cups shortening
Cream well. Add 1/2 cup powdered sugar; stir well. Sift in 1 3/4 cups flour. Add:
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup black walnuts, grated or chopped fine
Mix all together and chill. Make small balls, size of peanut. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees F or until just begin to brown. Remove from oven and roll in powdered sugar before putting away. Roll in powdered sugar again. Let stand day or two.

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups crushed pineapple and juice
  • 1 cup nuts


Mix all together and bake in a 9x13 inch pan for 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees F.



  • 1 pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 stick margarine or butter
  • Ad

  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla


Beat until well blended. Cool cake and frost.
