Needlepoint Instructions?

I have a zebra needlepoint by Leewards and I can't find any info on it. I want to do the kit. I have the picture of it but not the instructions. Does anyone know where I can get them?

If you would like to make two, and this is the same pattern (1975), here is an ebay listing ($18) that includes the instructions. Or you could complete one kit and then re-bundle the instructions with the other and possibly re-sell it. Another option might be to ebay message the seller and offer a small fee for them to email you pictures of the instructions. tinyurl.com/6z23wftx

Any of the Lee Wards pieces are very difficult to find and if one is found it is usually high price.
The only one that I could find is on Etsy and it is $18 for the full kit which is not a bad price considering that it probably that much or more originally. Not such a good buy when you only need instructions.

It's possible the seller would photo copy it for you - for a price - no harm in asking.

I have links below to sewing forums and these people can sometimes help you find things like this. Don't worry about old posts as these sites are up to date with helping people.

There are 3 volumes of Lee Wards hardback books available on eBay and other sites but it is my understanding these books contain a lot of pictures but deal mainly with teaching how to do different types of sewing - tips and tricks.

I do not believe they contain illustrations of their patterns (may have one or two for illustration).
I would recommend you contact one or more of the sellers and ask about illustrations before purchasing theses books if that is your reason for doing so.

If you have the photo, you can turn it into a pattern (it is not the easiest, but I did this years ago and it worked OK): It would probably work better with a light box--I used a window:

There are pattern making software programs and websites, but using those could open you up to copyright issues if you got caught.

The two others who answered--the Etsy links are the same person sellign the pattern at vastly different prices. Not sure what that is about--that is not how I roll when I sell, but I know some people do.

Yikes!
