Why did my numbers keypad suddenly stopped working?

Usually on the upper left corner of the number pad is a key that says "Num Lock" which means 'number lock.' If you see such a key, press it. It is intended to toggle the keypad on and off. Hope this works. Good luck.
Check the number lock button above the keypad. Press it and see if that will turn it back on. Sometimes it is easy to accidently hit the button and turn it off.
