Remember those simple yummy Root Beer Floats? Well, I haven't had one in decades and was craving one but didn't have any root beer on hand. I do keep orange soda, which I love, and vanilla ice cream on hand! Turned out to be the best of both worlds; a float and an Orange Dreamsicle combined. Yep, I grabbed a spoon too ;-)
Place scoops of vanilla ice cream in to an 8 ounce serving glass and fill with orange soda to cover ice cream. Garnish glass edge with orange slice and serve.

Mix frozen concentrate with water or ginger ale. Add half the sherbet and beat with rotary beater or electric mixer until smooth and blended. Pour into tall glasses or mugs. Garnish each glass with a scoop of remaining sherbet. Makes 4 servings.
Variations: Frozen pineapple juice with pineapple sherbet, frozen lemonade with lemon sherbet, or frozen limeade with lime sherbet.

I thought blood oranges and tequila would go well together so I made this drink. It turned out pretty well, hope you enjoy.

Pour about 1/2 cup Orange juice into each of 4 tall glasses add scoop orange sherbet...
In a blender, combine orange juice, juice from lime, triple sec, tequila, sugar, and ice cubes. Cover blender and blend until smooth.
Make ice milk: In saucepan, dissolve sugar in juice; boil. Add milk and zest. Place in 9 inch cake pan; freeze 2 hours or until firm. . .
In pitcher, stir in eggnog and orange juice. Mix well. Add in ginger ale and stir gently. Keep chilled until ready to drink...
Mix vegetable juice and orange juice. Add seltzer water. Serve over ice.
