I am having a 13th birthday. I want it to be big but we are on a very tight budget, please help!

How about a slumber party? You could even ask everyone to bring their favorite appetizer and have those for dinner. I think it sounds like lots of fun. (03/13/2008)

You could take the sleep-over one step further. If it is girls the have a makeup party. Many of the Avon or such ladies might just be interested in doing a demonstration. If it is guys, then beg and borrow a bunch of tents, have a camp out complete with hot-dogs and marshmallows. If an overnight party is not suitable, then find out what kind of music they like and ask and older teen to come and dj for you, some high-schools actually teach broadcasting now. After the music show a new release movie that interests them. Hot-dogs or pizza are usually acceptable to most teens and they are cheap. Good luck with the party, 13 year old's can be hard to please no matter what you do. (03/13/2008)

I say have those Little Caesars $5 pizzas with chips and cheap drinks. It could even be kool-aid in a nice punch bowl with paper cups. Or have a hot dog and chips cookout, and don't forget to get all of your party decor at a dollar store. (05/17/2008)
