Does anyone know where I could find a screen door protector to stop my cat from scratching the bottom of my screen door? I've seen them online before but can't find them anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the home improvement store and purchase a sheet of plexiglass. Get it cut and screw it onto the screen door for the summer. (03/02/2006)
A screen shop can order this for you to exact measurements, and hardware stores carry ones you can use if a standard size. My dogs were jumping on the screen and it sure has saved it! (03/02/2006)
At the home improvement store, you will find a mesh grate that screws right to the bottom half of the door...we used one for years to keep our dog from going through the screen. (03/02/2006)
This works for the summer in our area.
A water gun.
Just shoot it at the screen when they scratch, it
won't hurt them and they don't like getting wet.
After a couple sprays they won't scratch anymore. (03/02/2006)
We have the square chicken wire on ours. Just cut out a square and put in on the bottom of the door. It works great we had to do it because of the cats and the pigs also went threw them. Now no problem (03/03/2006)
Is this what you need? (12/01/2007)
