Pudding Cake

This has become one of my favorites! I had this the first time when I was young and my sister in-law made it and brought to a family get together. Very good!

Ingredients:

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 (3 oz.) boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 cups cold milk
  • whipped topping

Directions:

Bake cake in greased 9x13 inch pan according to package directions. Immediately punch holes in hot cake with wooden spoon handle, 1 inch apart. Beat together powdered sugar, milk and pudding mix. Pour 1/2 into holes in cake. Let remaining thicken, and pour over cake. When ready to serve, top with whipped topping. Keeps well in refrigerator.

Cooking Time: 25-40 Minutes
