Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 46 graham crackers
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Line cookie sheet with separated graham crackers. Boil for 2 minutes the butter, margarine, and sugar. Pour over crackers; spread. Sprinkle on pecans. Bake 11 minutes at 325 degrees F. Remove immediately and put on waxed paper.

Crust

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine

Directions

Mix and press into 9x13 inch cake pan.

Filling

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup vanilla pudding
  • 2 pints vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 2 cups milk, heated then cooled
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • Ad

  • 12 oz. whipped topping
  • Heath toffee bits (garnish)

Directions

Mix everything except whipped topping and Heath bits in a medium sized bowl. Mixing it with a wire whip works great. Pour pudding mixture over crust. Top with whipped topping and garnish with a generous amount of Heath toffee bits. Refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight before serving. Can also be frozen. Absolutely delicious!

If you like Heath candy bars, you love this dessert!

Ingredients:

  • 6 egg whites
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 12 crushed Heath bars
  • grated semi-sweet chocolate (I use chocolate chips)

Directions:

Beat egg whites at high speed. Fold in sugar as for meringue. Line two 9x13 inch pans with foil. Divide meringue in 2 pans. Bake 35 minutes at 325 degrees F. Cool. Remove foil. Whip 1 pint whipping cream. Fold in 12 crushed Heath bars. Put 1 layer meringue in pan, add 1/2 of cream mixture, then top with other layer of meringue and remaining cream mixture. Garnish with grated semi-sweet chocolate. Chill 12 hours. (Chill Heath bars in freezer before crushing for easier crushing.)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 stick butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/3 cup nuts, chopped ( any kind you like)
  • 3-4 Heath candy bars (broken into pieces)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, using a pastry blender, mix the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar and butter together until fine particles form. Remove 1/2 cup of the mixture to use to top cake. Blend in the buttermilk, egg, vanilla, baking soda and baking powder and transfer the batter to a greased and floured 9x13 inch pan. To make the topping: Combine the crushed candy bars, nuts and reserved flour/sugar mixture. Sprinkle over the batter and bake for 28-30 minutes, or until the cake springs back when touched in the center. Remove from the oven and cool completely. Makes 15 servings.
