Use equal parts of corn startch and baking soda mixed together. Sprinkle on the dog and rub into the fur. This kills all the smells on the dog and removed the order. You can also use this as a dry dog shampoo to give your dog a bath with when the weather is too bad outside. I have done this after one of the dogs was operated on and you could not give them a bath. it works great to get rid of orders.

Have you talked to the vet about this smell? It could be an underlying health issue. Ear issues often cause a dog to smell, so do dental issues and issues with the glands in their tush.
In my experience as a dog owner (many, many years) 98% of issues where the dog smells is a treatable health condition. The other 2% is they rolled in something outside and need a good bath with a dog or baby shampoo.
