Removing Fabric Dye That Transferred in the Wash?

I bought a white-based dress with blue, yellow, and red stripes on it. I put in the washing machine for the very first time. When I took the dress out from the machine, the red colour at the bottom of the dress faded into the white area and also transferred to the other shirts as well. May I know how can I get rid of colour from the white area? Thank you.
