Saving a African Violet Exposed to Cold TemperaturesMy African violet appears to have frozen to some degree after being left in temps of 34 degrees after the electricity went out. Can they be saved?

Saving African Violet

Step 1
Move to warmer temperature immediately

Step 2
Remove any affected leaves to prevent rot

Step 3
Do not water or fertilize

Step 4
Put the plant in a plastic bag and seal it up. This will provide a greenhouse effect.

Step 5
If the plant is going to recover, you will see results in a few days

Step 6
In about a week, remove the bag and go back to your regular watering and fertilizing schedule. B
