My African violet appears to have frozen to some degree after being left in temps of 34 degrees after the electricity went out. Can they be saved?
Saving African Violet
Step 1
Move to warmer temperature immediately
Step 2
Remove any affected leaves to prevent rot
Step 3
Do not water or fertilize
Step 4
Put the plant in a plastic bag and seal it up. This will provide a greenhouse effect.
Step 5
If the plant is going to recover, you will see results in a few days
Step 6
In about a week, remove the bag and go back to your regular watering and fertilizing schedule. B
