Setting Up Free Telephone Service at Home

Gold Post Medal for All Time! 523 Posts

There are many free phone services out there. Even the government has one, Safelink, although you must meet a few requirements. And then there are others, Skype (Microsoft) being one.

Another, little known and quite different service is provided by Google. It is different in that it allows you to use your land line (home phone) for free. You will be required to purchase an adapter box currently available on Amazon or Newegg for about 50 bucks.

Rather than try to give you a lot of information here, there is an article that should give you most of the information you would need to see if this service is right for you.

Happy chatting, Y'all!
