I have spilt wood varnish on my carpet and can't remove it. My carpet is all hard, any tips?

Hi David. Try a product called "Greased Lighting." It works wonders. It's worth a try.

Spilt Varnish on Carpet

Several years ago this happened to us, NEW carpet. Broke my heart. We tried WD-40 (yes, WD-40), someone had told us about using it. It removed the stain from the carpet, wall paper, and vinyl flooring. Did not even leave a stain. We saw someone remove tar from carpet with it also! Good luck (09/21/2004)
