Spots on Clothes from Well Water?

We have well water. It smells and is orange. We do laundry and faded spots appear in different areas of the clothes. How do we get rid of this?

I use borax. A half a cup, along with my laundry soap. Keeps my clothes from getting that dingy orange color! I swear by this stuff!

Do you use borax in every load of laundry you do?

Don't use borox if it's cold or warm water. It doesn't dissolve and leave a paste on your clothes..

I bought iron out and I soak the clothes that have orange spots in water with Iron Out. It's a pain but if only one or two pieces of clothing have the stains, that's what i do
