Steps:

  1. Bake scrubbed potatoes at 400 degrees F. for 50 minutes.
  2. Fry bacon to crispy and drain
  3. When potatoes are done, let them cool a couple of minutes. Wearing a oven mitt, hold the potato in one hand. With your other hand, cut a large "X" in the potato. Squeeze a little so that some of the potato comes out.
  4. Spoon in butter, then cheese into the opening. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the potato.
