Trace, Cut, and Draw (Worm)
The printout provided on this page, is a fun pre-school project that allows your little ones to practice their tracing, cutting, and drawing skills. The subject is an earthworm and the activity can be used as part of a teaching moment about the importance of worms in the environment.

I started these with my preschool students as part of our summer remote learning program. Each one relates to the current unit we are doing. It is a great way for them to practice their skills and then do a fun little project at the end. Here is the worm worksheet, if you would like to work on it with your kids, grandkids, etc.
- Start by having them trace the 2 worms at the top of the page.
- Next, have them cut out the 2 worms in the middle of the page.
- Then have them try drawing their own worms. They can color them in and add details if they want.
- Finally, they can cut out the worm and use it as a bookmark. Happy reading!
