Tulip Art for KidsChildren will be thrilled to bits when they see how easy it is to draw and colour in pictures of tulips. Any child who can write the letters of the alphabet can do this, and turn it into a picture to hang on the wall or a pretty greetings card



Tulip Art for Kids


  1. Use the letters U and W to draw tulips.
  2. Tulip Art for Kids - use the letters U and W to draw the practice tulips
  3. Practise on a scrap of paper. First draw the U.
  4. Tulip Art for Kids - first draw a practice U
  5. Then add a W to the top of it.
  6. Tulip Art for Kids - then add a practice wide W to the top
  7. Draw a line from one of the bottom points of the W to the bottom of the U.
  8. Tulip Art for Kids - draw a line from the bottom point of the W to the bottom of the U, curving to make the petal

  9. Do the same on the other side.
  10. Tulip Art for Kids - repeat
  11. Then colour it in.

  13. Once you have practised you can draw a vase of tulips. Begin by drawing a long thin U for the vase.

  15. Then draw a line across the top.

  17. Draw long lines for stems.
  18. Tulip Art for Kids - draw long lines for the stems and add a U to the top of each stem

  19. With a tulip at the top of each.
  20. Tulip Art for Kids - finish the tulips on the top of the stems
  21. Colour it in with markers.

  23. Go over the stems with a green marker.
  24. Tulip Art for Kids - go over the stems with a green marker
  25. Add some more lines for leaves.
  26. Tulip Art for Kids - add some lines for leaves
  27. Add a message if you have chosen to make a card.
  28. Tulip Art for Kids - add a greeting
