Our tulip tree has already began to bloom. The bloom comes first and then the leaves. Once the leaves have come out the tree seems to bloom all over again. Looking closely, you can see a bee doing it's job of pollinating.

Photo Description He was a preemie, just two and a half pounds when he was born in 2003. But he and his tree have both blossomed! He's a healthy 13 year old now and loves his tree, especially when it's this beautiful.
We've planted a tree for each new grandchild and this tulip tree with its beautiful red blooms is our grandson's tree.
