Upcycled Stocking Scrubby

Runs and tears in stockings may cause you to throw them in the trash. Why not use them to clean hard to reach spots like behind faucets, shower heads, or even your own back? To make them durable, take a few of them, tie a knot at the top, and braid together. The bumps from the braiding help get all the nooks and crannies.

Good tip! I like the idea of braiding them into a long scrubber, like you did.

I heard a Doctor on TV say these harbor Bacteria. Do you throw these away after each use?

I would think they can be laundered with towels and washcloths.
