Upcycled Water Faucet Decor

Supplies:

• paint
• paint brush
• crackle paint
• stain
• paper towel
• old faucet
• old faucet handle
• embellishments

Steps:

1. First, I painted two coats of paint on the birdhouse after a hole was drilled on the top and side to fit the faucet and faucet handle. Let dry between coats. Apply crackle paint to painted surface and let dry 2 to 4 hours.

 

 

 

 
2. Using paper towel, dip into stain and apply to crackle paint. Wipe off excess. This gives is an old distressed look.

 
3. Add fixtures and embellishments.
