Make your own Valentine heart earrings that you can wear all year long or give to that special friend in your life.

Total Time: 1 hour

Yield: one

Shown in picture are two types of heart charms just to give you an idea of variety.

  • 2 heart charms
  • 2 eye pins 1-1/2 inch
  • 2 10mm glass beads
  • 2 4mm glass beads
  • 4 tiny silver bead caps
  • 2 earwires
  • 1 cutter tool
  • 1 flat nose pliers
  • 1 round nose pliers

You can find most of the supplies including heart charms at local craft supply stores (e.g. - Michaels, Walmart, other)

All supplies are suggestions and size of beads can be varied and bead caps can be omitted but it is nice to frame the beads.

  1. Attach the charm to the eye pins and close the loop with flat nose pliers.
  2. Thread on one tiny silver bead cap down over the eye pin followed by the large 10mm glass bead (color of your choice), another tiny silver bead cap, 4mm glass bead.
  3. With round nose pliers make a loop (see pic), then attach the earwires and close the loop with flat nose pliers.
