I do not believe we can really help you with a true value; as is or restored, as there are too many variables and a big one is the location of the machine.
Some buyers will travel to pick up a machine but most of the time items like this are sold as 'local pick up'. Because of this, the final value many times relies on the type of sales in your area.

If you live in a farming area and similar machines are currently being used then your chances of a higher sale could be very good.

I believe you should try to find someone in your area that has knowledge about these machines and ask their advice on value and restoration possibilities.
Sometimes you can get information by visiting farm feed stores as many of these have workers who know about older machines.

The Oliver Corporation began in 1848 as John Nichols' blacksmith shop and foundry in Battle Creek, Michigan. Nichols later entered into partnership with David Shepard to establish Nichols, Shepard & Co., Inc. which manufactured threshing equipment. The company became a part of the Oliver Farm Equipment Co. in 1929, and in 1944, after a series of mergers, became the Oliver Corp., manufacturers of a wide range of agricultural equipment. archive.lib.msu.edu/.../094.html

Red River Threshing machines were originally built by Nichols & Shepard, the same company that built steam traction engines and then by Oliver after they took over Nichols & Shephard.
The Red River Special was the most common in this area, after Case. A few Frick, and IHC threshers too.
Around 1900 the company introduced their famous Red River Special line of threshers. The first Red River Special threshers were made of wood. The first all-steel threshers appeared in 1915. (Classic Oliver Tractors by Sherry Schaefer and Jeff Hackett, 2009, p. 14)

The later ones were painted Oliver green but under the paint were the old lettering from when they were galvanized.

Oliver Red River Special were built in 2 sizes, 22" x 36" and 28" x 46". First number is the diameter of the cylinder and the second is the width of the machine. Up till the late teens they built them up to 44" cylinder size.

I think your Oliver Red River Special thresher was built sometime from the 30's through the 40's. Here a fold-out for the Oliver Nichols & Shepard Red River Special line of threshers, dated 1930 gibbardtractors.co.uk/.../
You need to look up the serial number, as the serial number will tell you what year your thresher is, for example with the book Oliver Hart-Parr.

Your Oliver red river special thresher is not in the worst condition, I think its price is about $700, but the price depends on the demand in your area.
Value of a restored Oliver red river special thresher is up to $2,500 www.wilkesantiquetractors.com/.../oliver-red-river-special-other-harvest...
