Value of a Grandfather Clock?

Value of a Grandfather Clock - clock in a corner of the room I don't have many details on this, apart from the pictures. I am just interested to see how much it's worth.

Any help would be great, fingers crossed some one can!

Contact this company, one sold and it will not give the settled price. This clock is highly sought after, and could bring in a fair/good price in the $1000's for this John May Southhampton longcase www.antiqueclock.co.uk/.../grandfather

There are a few listed on eBay out of the UK and the price is listed in euros. One is selling for 51 euros and the other is selling for 101 euros. It appears the case is made from mahognay wood. You can check the listing here www.ebay.co.uk/.../bn_18197213 It appears the price varies by location and if it is listed online the shipping is quite expensive if you purchase it.

I have seen some sold for around 500 to 700 and the older ones sold for around 1250 dollars.
