You probably did. Signed pieces and limited editions fetch more than unsigned ones. You also didnt include the dimensions. Look on eBay and you will be likely to find your print.

Hi,

I would say absolutely! There in no reason you would not be able to profit on this painting. It is worth way more than $10.00 I would look at ebay. Here is a link to a lot of prints like yours:

I wish you the best and you have a beautiful framed painting!

Blessings,

So you got a great deal if you are keeping it to enjoy!! If you are trying to flip it, you will probably make a little money, but if you go to eBay you will see there are at the moment over 13,000 prints of various sizes and styles up for grabs at the moment (active auctions).

If you go to completed, there were over 2,000 completed, but only about 1/2 of those sold. There is a huge glut of Kinkade prints out there, so even if it does sell, it is not going to be a next day flip. It may sit out there for sale for months or even years before the right person MUST HAVE it!

You can research eBay to see if you can find an exact match that sold and that would give you the flip value.

Be very wary of selling these online as shipping is a nightmare. You will need to package it carefully so the glass doesn't break and the frame doesn't get damaged. Make sure you wrap it carefully BEFORE you list it so you can put it in a box and weigh it so you don't get cheated on postage to ship it.

I have all but given up selling breakables online these days. I have had WAY to many bad experiences with my lovely items getting to the buyer in a million pieces (and I wrap things like the there is no tomorrow and they still get smushed).

You may be able to turn a small profit consigning it, which is the best way to sell the breakables. Just be sure to understand the split...I would hate to see you take it somewhere and they sell it for $20 and you get 40% and lose money on it.

Post back what you do and if you are able to profit!!

Thanks for sharing!

This is a beautiful painting no matter the size.
I hope you plan to hang it in your home or it would make a great gift - especially a Mother's Day gift!

  • As to the value it would be impossible to give you any idea without more information. There are thousands of similar paintings listed on auction sites and more added everyday while a very small percentage are sold but many are removed by sellers because they did not sell.
  • When doing research you can eliminate a lot of the listings by removing or adding attributes of your painting.
  • Canvas is the highest priced and yours is not canvas so that can be eliminated.

  • Your painting is a lithograph Accent Print and most of these are selling for under $50 but since we do not have the size or more important for research - the name of your print so it is impossible to even research for a value.
  • You have to find a sold painting with all of the same (or close) attributes. Size, Accent Print, lithograph, framed, and also shipping cost or area the painting is located will determine the current value and this you will probably never find but you may be able to locate a similar size and make a guess from that.
  • I hope you like it and look at it often with the thought of knowing it was a good buy and you were meant to have it!
