If you like a combination of vegetables, or just have small amounts of various vegetables to use up, this is for you. You can vary the vegetables according to the season and what is on sale.

Cook Time: 12 minutes

Total Time: 22 minutes

Yield: 6-8 servings

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Sauté the onion in butter until transparent.
  2. Add the carrots and sauté 5 minutes.
  3. Add the broccoli stem pieces and sauté 2 minutes more.
  4. Add the florets, basil, garlic powder, salt, pepper and water.
  5. Cover and let simmer 3-5 minutes.
