By the heart-shaped leaves, it looks like a type of philodendron.

I don't know the Latin name but know it as a Nepthytis variety. Some call it the arrowhead plant.
Although it does not show when planted in a dish garden or basket, this plant is a trailing vine of sorts.

I would say, especially due to the red, that it is more likely a nephthytis. The plant is pretty easy to care for: "The Syngonium podophyllum -- also known as Nephthytis or Arrowhead plant -- is a hardy houseplant that brings a bit of greenery to your interior decor without requiring too much maintenance. This tropical, slow-growing vine works well as either a potted or a hanging plant and generally can survive some neglect in its care.

An established and healthy Nephthytis is typically easy to propagate with stem cuttings. Even though it is not a demanding plant, you can help ensure the Nephthytis thrives with the proper care."

I guess I have a different idea about this plant as it sure looks like one of my Caladiums growing around one of my trees. There are so many varieties of caladiums - different colors and shapes that it is almost impossible to find exactly the same color every time. I believe caladiums are in the elephant ear family as some caladiums are called elephant ears. I generally think of elephant ears as having very large (or huge) ears.

I have read in one of my plant books that the appearance of all caladiums can vary by soil conditions, water and light, maturity, fertilization, etc.

Here is a photo of one variety of caladium:

caladiums are grown from tubers so if your roots look like this you may have a caladium:

Here is a good site to learn about caladiums:
