Wooden daisy flowers in terra cotta pots on a chandelier outside.My Valentine's Day gift: flowers and chocolates! My husband made the flowers from wood and attached a dowel. After I had eaten the chocolate centers, I decided to repurpose the flowers and made this cute hanging for my patio area.

Supplies:

  • wooden flowers
  • paint
  • paintbrush
  • chandelier
  • terra cotta pots
  • drill
  • drill bit

Steps:

  1. You could probably purchase wooden shaped flowers and add dowels for stems. My husband made these flower shapes and added a dowel which he had painted green.
  2. A bouquet of wooden flowers with chocolate centers.
     
    Removing the chocolates from the center of the flowers.
     
  3. Paint the flowers and stems as desired.
  4. Close up of the daisy flowers.
     
    The brightly painted daisy flowers.
     
  5. Using an old chandelier, screw the terra cotta pots on the chandelier "holders."
  6. A chandelier with terra cotta pots.
     
  7. Plant the painted, wooden flowers into each pot.
  8. Adding the flowers to the terra cotta pots.
