"Bee Mine" Clothespin Craft - three finished bee clothespinsThis a cute way to turn a clothespin into a clingy bee for your Valentine. Just clip it onto their shirt and claim your love!

Total Time: 90 minutes

Supplies:

  • clothespins
  • yellow paint
  • black paint
  • paintbrushes
  • red/pink construction paper
  • pen
  • scissors
  • hot glue or craft glue
  • black wire
"Bee Mine" Clothespin Craft - supplies
 

Steps:

  1. Paint the clothespins yellow. Let dry.
  2. "Bee Mine" Clothespin Craft - clothespins painted yellow
     
  3. Paint black stripes over the yellow paint on the bottom segment of the clothespin. Let dry.
  4. "Bee Mine" Clothespin Craft - painted black stripes on upper part of the pins
     
  5. Paint on a little smiley face on the top portion of the clothespin. Let dry.
  6. "Bee Mine" Clothespin Craft - smiley faces painted on the top portion

  7. To make the heart wings, fold your construction paper in half and draw half-hearts at the spine.

  9. Cut the hearts out.

  11. If you like, write "Bee Mine" on the wings under the fold.

  13. Add a small dab of glue to the point of the heart.
