Two egg bites on a plate with toast.

Instant Pot Egg BitesThese are a copycat version of the Starbucks version, which are $5 for two. Since I have never had them at Starbucks, I cannot say whether they taste the same, but I can say they are good. You can get a mold like I used, or use silicone baking cups.

A stack of pancakes with syrup and fruit on the top.

Velvety Peanut Butter PancakesIf you are a peanut butter fan like I am, you will love these pancakes. They are silky smooth have just the right amount of peanuty goodness. They are rich, as well, so a little goes a long way. Any topping or syrup goes great with these. I like fruit and a touch of maple!

Baked sugar cookies on a plate.

Sugar Cookies from Leftover Buttercream FrostingButter has become scarce these days. I wish to make cookies, but all I have left is a small piece of butter and some leftover buttercream from my previous cake orders. I don't want to waste the frosting so I decided to make cookies out of it.

Grated Sweet Potato PuddingMy mother used to make this. I remember eating it as a child and it was so good. This is my cousin's recipe. When her health was good, she would make this and bring it to our covered dish family gatherings. It was enjoyed by all.

Basil Garlic Parmesan SauceNormally you'll need pine nuts or some nut alternative for pesto but I don't have any on hand. I omit the nuts and it still tastes as good.

A cooling rack of baked muffins.

Fragrant Spiced MuffinsMade with 100% whole wheat flour, these are healthy and satisfying. You can substitute other dried or fresh fruit for the raisins. You can add nuts and/or seeds. You can even substitute part of the whole wheat flour with other healthy choices such as rye, soy, oats, bran or wheat germ.

A loaf of ABC bread.

Creamy Oat MilkOkay so you're probably wondering what in the world is that? Well oat milk is very heathy, and it makes a great non-dairy alternative. I first found out about it at Starbucks they have something called a honey oat milk latte. So I thought I can make my own.

Shrimp paste served with sliced mangoes.

Sweet and Spicy Shrimp PasteShrimp paste or "baguong alamang" is one of the best livelihood products in my country. It is an appetiser or could also be used as condiment. This is usually served with rice or paired with green mangoes.

A tongue that has been pierced.

Questions about Tongue Piercing?I recently got the surface snake bite two days ago. I took it out today because I noticed the ring he used was not for that. It was too tight and was putting pressure on my tongue. So when I took it out, it looks like this. Is it infected and do I need to seek medical attention?

An old fashioned porcelain figurine couple.

Identification and Value of FigurineThis figurine has been in the family for 35-60 years or longer. It is 4 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches wide at the base, and 2 1/2 inches deep. Since our parents have passed, we no longer have the 'history' of this piece. I don't know who created this or what the markings on the bottom mean.
