Using Rubber Bands to Make Stamps

Pile of Colorful RubberbandsDon't throw old rubber bands away. Make rubber band prints. Draw a simple picture on a piece of heavy cardboard. Then "draw" over the picture with a glue stick. When it is good and sticky, use cut up bits and pieces or the length of each rubber band cut once to outline the image. Once the glued pieces have dried, paint over the stamps with tempera paint and stamp them onto card-stock.

Very cool idea, how creative! You could also use acrylic blocks or wood for something more permanent.
