How Can I Make a Duster With a Dowel and Netting?

Does anyone have directions for making dusters on a dowel stick using netting?

I think maybe dowel and some fleece from a fabric shop might work better. You can layer a couple squares of fleece, sew a 'tube' up the middle where the dowel can slide in. then clip up the sides of the fleece to make little individual fleecy fingers like a swiffer duster. Been thinking bout making one myself! Plus once it's dirty you can just wash it!
