Guacamole Salad

Avocados are healthy when eaten in moderation. This is a great way to prepare avocados.

Ingredients:

  • 3 Large ripe avocados
  • 1 ripe tomato
  • Ad

  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp. picante sauce
  • 2 tbsp. onion-minced
  • 4 green onions-chopped
  • juice from one lime

Directions:

Mash avocados together. Add all other ingredients, mix until all is blended together. Serve with tortilla chips or fajitas!

If you are going to eat your avocado salad right away, it is fine, but otherwise I would suggest adding the avocados when you are ready to serve the salad. I made a salad with all of these ingredients as well as cucumber, but didn't serve it until the next day and it was "gushy" and very unsatisfying.
