Chicken Marinade


  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. leaf basil
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 1/2-3 lbs. chicken pieces


In a large measuring cup, combine all ingredients except chicken. Place chicken in a plastic bag. Pour marinade over chicken and chill for 30 minutes. Broil or grill 40 minutes or till chicken is done, basting frequently. Serves: 4

Chicken Marinade

1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground black pepper (optional)

In a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, brown sugar, orange juice, garlic, and pepper. Pour over beef, pork, or chicken. Cover, and marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours, or overnight. The longer the meat is marinated, the stronger the flavor will be.

Quick & Easy Chicken Marinade

1 bottle of any flavor bbq sauce
1/2 c honey
1/3 c orange juice

Mix all 3 ingredients in a large zipper baggie. Reserve 1 c of mixture for basting while grilling. To the rest add 6 boneless chicken breasts. Marinade for at least 2 hrs or overnight.
